Founder & Vision Statement

René Dawn is a multidisciplinary creative entrepreneur, publisher, and cultural architect whose work spans literature, film, and design. She is the founder of Keanjo Publishing, LLC, Dawniverse Films, and Very Royal Designs (VRD), an artisanal jewelry line translating symbolism and narrative into wearable form. Her feature film Before Dark (2022) established her presence as a filmmaker committed to emotional depth and atmospheric storytelling, reinforcing her leadership across multiple creative industries rooted in intention, legacy, and creative sovereignty.

Vision

 René envisions Keanjo Publishing as a curatorial literary house that protects voice-centered storytelling, preserves memory as cultural record, and establishes a permanent space for narratives that resist trend cycles and commercial dilution. Through Keanjo, she aims to cultivate a legacy imprint that honors artistic integrity, elevates marginalized interior narratives, and reshapes how contemporary literature is valued, preserved, and remembered.
